More than 25 years ago Paul Huffington and Bill O’Brien started Quartech Systems as a Vancouver team of mainframe developers focused on the social services ministry in British Columbia, Canada. Like all new companies, the initial team pooled their abilities and energy to deliver the measurable client value that would create new opportunities for their growth and success.
Over the years we have continued to build on our deep understanding of the social service sector and still continue to enhance and support many of the systems developed by our founding team. Alongside these 
long-term successes we have evolved with the needs of an expanding client base, the growing skills of our staff and the increasing capabilities of technology to almost 200 full-time consultants providing a broad array of leading services and solutions across social services, insurance and health sectors.
We credit our continued success to a relentless focus on the needs of our clients and our staff. In fact several of our initial staff (from 1984) continue to serve our social services clients with their information technology, a strong testament to our long-term dedication to both client and staff needs.
