Current Quartech Opportunities

Quartech Systems is seeking Cerner Systems Engineers for upcoming client projects.  The client is Vancouver based but work may be done remotely.

Successful candidates will be responsible for Cerner Millennium Specialist tasks including domain refreshes, data extracts, temporary table management, CCL extract, ops jobs, solution monitoring, printer queue setup and all tasks not specific to individual modules.

• Solid understanding of the entities and relationships in the Cerner data model
• 4 years’ recent related DBA experience with at least 2 years with Cerner Millennium or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills, including superior problem-solving skills
• Extensive experience working with Oracle databases
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral)

• Government or large corporate client experience
• Ability to work with minimal guidance and supervision
• Demonstrated ability to effectively work with others in a consultative/collaborative manner
