Quartech Systems Limited is seeking intermediate and senior Database Administrators to work at Vancouver and Victoria based client sites.
|
| Minimum Qualifications |
- 5 or more years of experience in Database Administration
- Extensive hands on experience with database technologies
- Working knowledge of database backup technologies and procedures
- Extensive experience transforming logical data models into physical databases to support application requirements
- Excellent ability to design and implement database maintenance plans
- Extensive experience with data replication

| Desired Skills and Experience |
- Hands on experience with DB2, IMS, Oracle and/or MS SQL Server
- Database Administration certification or higher certificates
- Experience in large, complex project environments
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Complete Software Development Life Cycle experience
