Project Analyst

Quartech Systems is seeking experienced Project Analysts to provide general support for a variety of Lower Mainland clients.
Scope of Work
- Updating and maintaining the project plans
- Reporting budget status and tracking project expenditures
- Compiling and preparing regular status reports
- Developing progress measures and reports (schedules and financial)
- Maintaining Risk Management, Issue Management and Change Management and Decision Request Logs
- Validating timesheet entries
- Assisting with the compilation of project estimates for business case or funding request preparation
- Assisting with creation of the work breakdown structures for project billing
- Assisting with preparation of materials to support facilitated Project sessions
- Recording and distributing minutes, decisions, and actions from team meetings, steering committee meetings, facilitated sessions, implementation planning sessions
- Preparing presentations as required
- Performing other project manager support work as required

| Minimum Qualifications |
- 5+ years of IT industry experience
- Experience in producing, updating and maintaining project plans and schedules
- Experience producing and maintaining various communication deliverables including project status, project budget and Fit/Gap reports
- Experience in meeting facilitation support including the preparation of materials for project sessions and the recording and distribution of minutes
- Extensive experience with MS Project and MS Office
- Excellent written and oral communication skills

| Desired Skills and Experience |
- Knowledge of corporate accounting policies and procedures to assist with development of controls for corporate projects and to report financial status
- Knowledge of project management concepts and principles to plan, monitor and report on project progress, issues and impacts
- Experience using SAP, PeopleSoft, Oracle or other tools for tracking budget and expenditures
- Ability to maintain a high degree of precision and attention to detail to produce accurate reports
- Ability to work with multiple demands and time pressures
- Large, complex project experience
