Overview
Quartech has provided information systems consulting services since 2001 to the Fraser Health Authority (FHA) for project delivery, support, maintenance and enhancements to the FHA Financial Accountability Reporting system. Quartech has also provided consulting services for the Combined Seniority Database for the Human Resources department.

Background
Fraser Health is one of six health authorities established by the government of British Columbia in December 2001. FHA serves
1.44 million people who live within the boundary, which stretches from Burnaby to Boston Bar. With a budget of $1.6 billion, FHA is well positioned to provide quality health care ranging from acute care hospitals to community-based residential, home health, mental health, and public health services.

Quartech's Role
For the Financial Accountability Reporting system, Quartech's responsibilities have included project management, systems analysis, software development, testing, implementation and support. This reporting system utilizes information from the Meditech Health Care system which is utilized by FHA operations.

For the Human Resources combined seniority database, Quartech's responsibilities have included project management, systems analysis, software development, testing, implementation and support.

For the Financial Accountability Reporting system, FHA technologies and architectures require expertise in VB/Com, and SQL Server. For the combined seniority database, this was also a mix of Microsoft VB/Com and SQL Server.
