Curam Developers

Quartech Systems Ltd. is looking to interview Curam Developers for upcoming contract opportunities in British Columbia and Alberta.

The Developer will be responsible for logical and efficient implementation of designs, and must demonstrate experience in:

  • Software development life cycles, application release management and software development methodologies.
  • Complying with code release management process.
  • Writing, modifying, coding, developing and integrating Curam coding artifacts.
  • Examine existing code base.
  • Planning and running unit testing.
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Commerce, Computer Sciences, Management Information Systems or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Certified at the Curam Developer version 5 level or above and/or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Experience implementing large-scale Curam-based solutions. Solid working knowledge of technical and functional capabilities of Curam.
  • At least four (4) years Java experience supporting or implementing Java, EJB, J2EE, and Rational Rose.
  • Experience maintaining and developing software, including supporting the collection and documentation of user's requirements and writing, modifying, integrating and testing software code.
  • Experience working with Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS) and/or framework products and supporting implementations.
  • Experience with preparation and documentation of software requirements and specifications, including user manuals and guidelines and providing input for documenting operations infrastructure, system procedures, status reports and disaster recovery planning (DRP) requirements.
  • Good knowledge of Rational Rose, WebSphere and SQL server and DB2 environments.
  • Excellent communication skills, including the preparation of reports, manuals and other documentation.
  • Success working with public sector IT environments.
