Brief Description of Project:

Cúram’s systems integration partnership with Quartech leverages Quartech services capabilities and Pacific Northwest client base, including WCB, for Cúram implementations through this decade.

Through 2006 and 2007, Cúram have partnered with Quartech to extend the core enterprise product to suit the needs of WCB-BC and WSIB (Ontario) as part of the WCB-BC Claims Management System Project. Quartech’s Enterprise Solutions Development team is working directly with Cúram to:

1. Extend the Core Cúram Data Model
2. Adapt the Graphical User Interface (GUI)
3. Extend the Cúram Application Development Environment (ADE)
4. Extend the Cúram Business Process Objects (BPO) base (Java code)

Quartech solution environments include applications in large mainframe environments, n-tier architectures and complex multi-platform transactions.

Mainframe Environments
Quartech provides application development and maintenance to business with mainframe application environments. Many businesses continue to have core legacy applications based on mainframe technology for both batch and online processing. Typically, these applications are on IBM hardware technology written using a mix of PL/1 & COBOL languages and DB2 & IMS as database platforms. Quartech has a highly refined deliverables based Software Development Methodology to build on time and on budget applications.

n-Tier Architectures
We also provide application development and maintenance for web based applications following Object Oriented Analysis & Design.
